Release context
*The Lucid Nation* followed in 2012 and expanded DigiCult’s collaborative network considerably. The album includes work with U-Recken, DNA, Tropical Bleyage and Hux Flux, showing how closely the Belgian duo had become connected to artists from different corners of the international psytrance scene.
That makes the record feel broader than *Out Of This World* without abandoning the project’s identity. DigiCult’s melodic, morning-oriented full-on approach still holds the album together, but the guest appearances give each section a slightly different character and make collaboration part of the record’s design rather than an occasional extra.
