Release context
X-file is the first Krembo Records EP credited to Chakra & Edi Mis and sits at the opening of a collaboration that also produced The Promised Land album in 1996.
Chakra & Edi Mis was a historical Israeli Goa-trance collaboration used for joint releases rather than a permanent duo. The project is closely tied to Krembo Records and the mid-1990s development of the local scene. The X-File releases sit on either side of The Promised Land album and are useful markers of how quickly the production style was changing during those years.
