Release context
*Mind Technology* was released by IONO Music in 2013 as a two-track Audiotec EP. The title track is solo Audiotec, while the second track is a collaboration with Kopel, giving the release both an individual and collaborative side.
Its IONO setting also places the EP closer to the progressive end of the psychedelic spectrum than Audiotec’s earliest Utopia material. That does not make it a complete stylistic break, but it does show the project operating comfortably inside a different label environment after nearly a decade of releases.
