Release context
*Biointegrated Design* was released through IONO Music in 2017 as E-Clip’s third album. It followed *Into The Void* within the same label environment, extending a productive period in which the project became one of the more recognisable names in progressive psytrance.
The continuity is part of the point. Rather than shifting to a completely different formula, E-Clip used the album to deepen the detailed, controlled production style already associated with the project. In the catalogue it forms the closing part of a three-album progression from the initial reset of *Shuma* to a fully mature IONO-era sound.
