Release context
Atmos is Tomasz Balicki's Swedish progressive trance project and one of the artists most closely associated with the early development of progressive psytrance. His albums helped establish a slower, more spacious alternative to full-on and Goa styles at the turn of the millennium.
Within Atmos's catalogue, Tour de Trance sits between 2nd Brigade (2004) and The Bigger Picture (2026). That position makes the album useful for hearing how the project was changing across that period rather than treating it as an isolated entry.
