What defined FxxK Tomorrow

FxxK Tomorrow is an independent label founded in 2015 by Rui Oliveira, better known as Xangaii from Paranormal Attack. The label was created as a way to release his own music and work by friends without being boxed into one style or the expectations of a traditional label structure.

Its own description is deliberately broad: autonomy, independence and an open-minded approach matter more than genre boundaries. Psytrance remains central through Paranormal Attack, but the catalogue reaches into wider electronic and dance territory.

How FxxK Tomorrow developed

Xangaii launched FxxK Tomorrow in 2015 after more than a decade in the psychedelic-trance scene. The label’s stated aim was to create a non-profit, artist-supportive outlet where music could be released freely and without fear of crossing stylistic lines.

Paranormal Attack material including S.O.M.H., Thousand Ways and Cobra Gypsies appeared through the imprint, giving the project a direct artist-controlled release path outside its earlier label relationships.

People, organisation & management

Rui Oliveira/Xangaii is the founder and principal figure behind FxxK Tomorrow. The label’s public profile places it in Lisbon and presents it as an independent, artist-led operation , not a conventional corporate imprint.

Sound, roster & A&R direction

The label is intentionally cross-genre. Psytrance, electro and broader electronic dance music coexist within the catalogue, reflecting Xangaii’s stated preference for musical freedom over rigid scene categories.

Place in psytrance history

FxxK Tomorrow belongs to a wider shift toward artist-owned digital labels, allowing established psytrance producers to control release schedules, catalogue presentation and stylistic direction directly.

Scene impact & cultural reach

Its “music first” identity is significant in a scene where artists can become closely identified with one subgenre. FxxK Tomorrow deliberately resists that pressure and treats genre boundaries as secondary.

Key releases & catalogue moments

Early Paranormal Attack releases include S.O.M.H. (2015), Thousand Ways (2015) and Cobra Gypsies (2016), followed by later cross-genre release activity.
