Release context
Unknown Reality is Ralph Knobloch's downtempo and exploratory counterpart to Braincell. The project gives him room to work with guitar, modular synthesis, field recordings and slower structures, drawing on the same long psychedelic background without being tied to a trance-floor format.
Dream Machine is part of a concentrated 2026 sequence that greatly expanded the Unknown Reality catalogue. Rather than presenting that year as a single album campaign, Ralph Knobloch released a stream of individual pieces that document the project in a looser, continuously evolving form.
