Release context
U-Recken has been active since the mid-2000s, building a catalogue around melodic, emotionally direct psychedelic trance. By the mid-2020s the project had moved into a new phase around Yaniv Ben-Ari's BigFreq activities, with fresh singles feeding into a sixth-album period.
Almost Spiritual (Total Remake) forms part of U-Recken's renewed 2026 activity around the BigFreq period. Heard alongside the other singles from the same year, it functions less like an isolated comeback track and more like one piece of a broader return to regular studio releases.
