Release context
Droplets From the Matrix is another 2013 Solar Spectrum full-length, this time released by Ovnimoon Records. Coming in the same year as Source Energy Creations, it shows just how active Ralph K. Freund's Solar Spectrum project was at this stage, with two album-scale releases appearing through different labels.
The label change also broadens the context around the project. Ovnimoon had become an important home for progressive and psychedelic trance, so this record places Solar Spectrum inside a wider international network while still keeping the project distinct from Freund's Braincell catalogue.
