Shpongle is Simon Posford and Raja Ram's psychedelic electronic project, created as a space for ideas that sat outside conventional trance structures. Across its catalogue, live instrumentation, studio manipulation and global musical references are treated as part of one continuously evolving psychedelic language.
Shpongle Remixed by Cosmic Trigger is closer to a reconstruction project than a routine remix set. Jamie Grashion had worked as Simon Posford's assistant and on Shpongle's 2019 Red Rocks preparations, giving him unusually deep access to the source material before reshaping six tracks into new long-form pieces.
