Release context
J.B.I.E. belongs to SFX's early-1990s period, when the project was still developing through overseas activity and the wider shift from acid and techno toward trance. The release predates the classic Astral Projection catalogue that would later make Avi Nissim and Lior Perlmutter internationally known.
Seen in sequence with Monster Mania and the later archive collections, it helps fill the gap between the duo's first electronic experiments and the fully formed melodic Goa sound that followed.
