Release context
Breathe Underwater introduced Psy Trance Mafia as a formal collaboration between Infected Mushroom and Blastoyz in 2024. Rather than being billed simply as another guest feature, the release presents Psy Trance Mafia as a project of its own, giving the partnership a name that sits alongside both artists’ established identities.
The later three-track release also includes BOOMBA and a Blastoyz remix of Infected Mushroom’s Merlin. That structure makes Breathe Underwater more than a single collaboration: it establishes a shared creative space between two generations of Israeli psytrance and gives the project enough material to stand separately from either parent catalogue.
