Release context
*Free Your Soul* is a 2020 collaboration credited to Ace Ventura & Outsiders. It belongs to a stretch of the Outsiders catalogue in which collaborations were a major part of how Haim Lev and Guy Malka developed new material.
These 2020 singles sit in a productive stretch of the Outsiders catalogue when Haim Lev and Guy Malka were working with a wide range of established progressive and full-on artists. Each track is collaborative, which makes the sequence a concise picture of how the Israeli duo were positioning themselves between their own project identity and the wider scene around them. The release therefore works as another link in that network rather than as an isolated detour from the duo's main catalogue.
