Release context
Neelix is Henrik Twardzik's German progressive trance project. Over multiple albums, he helped define a melodic, accessible branch of progressive psytrance that crossed into larger festival and electronic-music audiences while retaining the genre's rolling low-end structure.
Within Neelix's catalogue, You're Under Control sits between Same Thing But Different (2007) and On My Own (2017). That position makes the album useful for hearing how the project was changing across that period rather than treating it as an isolated entry.
