Release context
*ULTRASONIC* is the most substantial Mekkanikka release from this period: a nine-track album made entirely with Ajja and released in April 2025. The official Bandcamp page describes it simply as a “meeting of the psychedelic minds”, but the scale of the project makes it more than a casual collaboration.
The album gives a full-length shape to a partnership that also appears elsewhere in Mekkanikka's recent catalogue. Around it, one-off sessions with Audiosonic, Marambà, S-Range, AVAN7 and others make *ULTRASONIC* feel like the centre of a wider collaborative phase rather than an isolated side project.
