*Enter the Dragon* was released in 2024 as a Mekkanikka single during the same period that produced a dense run of collaborations and the full-length Ajja project *ULTRASONIC*. Its solo credit gives it a different role from many of the releases around it.
Mekkanikka's 2024–26 catalogue is unusually collaborative, with a steady sequence of one-off studio pairings alongside the larger Ajja project. Seen together, these releases show the veteran project working less like a conventional album cycle and more like an open network of sessions with producers from different corners of full-on psytrance. Seen in sequence, the track helps show how Mekkanikka was moving freely between solo work, pairings and larger joint projects instead of following a conventional album campaign.
