Release context
*Treasures* is one of two Kalya Scintilla compilations issued in 2022 alongside *Trinkets*. The paired titles make the releases feel deliberately complementary, presenting selected catalogue material as two related collections rather than one catch-all anthology.
Kalya Scintilla's catalogue is broader than a single psytrance lane, moving through bass music, organic electronics, world-fusion textures and archival material. These releases are best read as parts of that long-form body of work rather than isolated genre exercises.
