New Zealand producer Oscar Allison has used Grouch and Grouch in Dub to move freely between progressive psytrance, dub, bass music and slower psychedelic electronics. The catalogue is deliberately porous, with collaborations and alternate versions often linking the dancefloor material to the more spacious Grouch in Dub side.
Grouch & Yestermorrow - Fractal comes from a period when Grouch was releasing music across several tempos and formats at once. Rather than separating progressive psytrance from dub and bass music, Oscar Allison lets those strands feed into one another across the catalogue.
