Release context
*MK Ultra* is a 2020 collaboration between Fungus Funk and Drip Drop, an early marker of a partnership that would continue through later EPs. Seen from the later catalogue, the track reads as part of a sustained working relationship rather than an isolated joint single.
Fungus Funk has been releasing psychedelic trance since the early 2000s, and collaboration has become one of the defining features of Sergio Prilepa's later catalogue.
