Release context
*Sky Input* is Filteria’s debut album, released by Suntrip Records in 2004. It was also one of the releases that helped define Suntrip’s early identity, bringing Jannis Tzikas’s dense, melodic approach to Goa trance into a scene that was then heavily dominated by newer full-on styles.
The album’s reputation is tied to that timing. Filteria did not simply imitate the 1990s Goa sound; the project pushed that melodic language through much more modern production and unusually intense layering. *Sky Input* became the starting point for a catalogue that played a major role in the 2000s Goa revival.
