Release context
*Daze Of Our Lives* was released by Suntrip Records in 2009 as Filteria’s third album. By then Jannis Tzikas had already established a recognisable style, so the record had less need to prove the viability of modern Goa trance and more freedom to work within that language.
The album belongs to the point where Filteria had moved from revival curiosity to established artist. Its place after *Sky Input* and *Heliopolis* gives the first three albums a clear arc: introduction, confirmation and refinement of one of the most distinctive melodic sounds in the 2000s Goa-trance resurgence.
