Release context
Easy Dubsteps pairs the original Easy Riders track with a Captain Hook remix. Echoes Records described the tune as a DJ-tested favourite from 2010 before issuing it in early 2011, which helps explain why the release feels built around one strong crossover idea rather than a conventional EP concept.
Easy Riders joins Yoni Oshrat (Ace Ventura) with Roy Tilbor (Rocky), two Israeli producers whose individual careers were already established when they created the project. The duo gave them room to work with slower progressive structures and crossover ideas that did not always fit neatly inside their solo catalogues, which is especially clear on releases built around dub and broken-rhythm influences.
