Release context
Wanna Party? is a solo Dickster single from 2023, issued during a period when his NANO catalogue was moving fluidly between individual tracks, collaborations and remixes rather than traditional album cycles.
Dick Trevor's Dickster catalogue sits inside a much wider history that also includes Green Nuns of the Revolution, Bumbling Loons, Circuit Breakers and numerous collaborations. By the time these NANO releases appeared, he had already been part of psychedelic trance since its early Goa-era development. That long perspective gives the later Dickster material a useful contrast: the production is modern and precise, but the humour, acid movement and restless groove still connect it to the more experimental spirit of his earlier work.
