Release context
The *Step Aside* EP was released in 2014 during Blastoyz’s early Nutek Records period. Its two-track programme pairs the title track with “Rising Sun,” a collaboration with Dapanji, placing the release firmly in the phase before Blastoyz became a much larger international name.
That early context matters because later Blastoyz singles are often associated with the polished festival sound that defined his breakthrough years. *Step Aside* documents the project while that identity was still taking shape inside the Nutek catalogue.
