Release context
*Life Apart* is Berg’s debut full-length, released by Blue Tunes Records in 2014. The album gave Shlomi Berg a larger platform after the singles and EP work that had already made his name familiar in progressive psytrance.
As a debut, its value lies in consolidating that early period into a coherent album statement. Berg’s later releases would become increasingly tied to the big-room end of progressive psytrance, and *Life Apart* is the clearest starting point for tracing that development across his catalogue.
