Release context
Rules Of L1fe was 8ternal Beings' second NANO single and was explicitly presented as the final stage of introduction before the project's debut album. Tristan and Regan described the track as growing out of a studio session focused on sound manipulation and the idea of adaptation.
That background gives the single a clearer conceptual role than a routine follow-up. It extends the darker, tribal character established by Maxwell's Dem0n while showing that the project was already being built toward a larger body of work rather than a loose run of singles.
