What defined WELVRAVE Records
WELVRAVE Records is the artist-led label founded by Kobi Nigreker, professionally known as Blastoyz. Its history dates the start to 17 September 2021 and explicitly frames the imprint as a home for Blastoyz releases and other artists from the Psytrance scene.
A prominent example of the 2020s artist-owned Psytrance label model, combining a globally touring headliner with a branded visual and release platform.
How WELVRAVE Records developed
The label history dates WELVRAVE to 17 September 2021. The name is derived from Blastoyz’s earlier track “We Love Rave,” but that 2015 track predates the record label and is not treated as a founding event. The label has continued to publish Blastoyz material and releases from a wider contemporary roster.
People, organisation & management
Kobi Nigreker/Blastoyz is the founder. Distribution and business partners are not treated as owners unless separately established, and the founder’s nationality is not used to invent a legal headquarters for the label.
Sound, roster & A&R direction
Contemporary Psytrance is the label’s core identity. Blastoyz frequently crosses into other electronic styles, while the label’s broader identity remains centred on Psytrance.
