What defined Syncronize Records

Syncronize Records was a small Irish Psytrance label associated with DJ Shore Bar Axel and the developing Irish psychedelic scene of the late 2000s. Its catalogue was compact, but it released music by artists who would become much better known internationally, most notably Ajja.

How Syncronize Records developed

Contemporary Irish scene coverage identifies Shore Bar Axel as Syncronize’s label manager and describes the imprint as one of the country’s active Psytrance labels. A 2008 label-party announcement calls Syncronize a new Irish Psytrance label founded by him.

The surviving releases include Ajja’s Psychogenica, Hyper Frequencies’ Phantasmatika and the various-artists compilation Kazem. The limited number of releases makes Syncronize a small imprint, but the artist connections give it more historical interest than its catalogue size alone suggests.

People, organisation & management

DJ Shore Bar Axel is documented as founder/label manager. He was German-born and active in Ireland, and Syncronize operated as an Irish label within the country’s developing Psytrance event network.

Sound, roster & A&R direction

Psychedelic trance is the core identity. The catalogue leans toward the detailed, organic and international Psytrance sound of the late 2000s , not a narrowly defined Irish regional style.

Place in psytrance history

Syncronize is significant mainly as part of Ireland’s relatively small but active 2000s Psytrance infrastructure. Its releases and label events connect the Irish scene to artists and networks from continental Europe and the broader festival circuit.

Scene impact & cultural reach

The label illustrates how local promoters, DJs and small imprints helped sustain Psytrance in countries without large domestic record industries for the genre. Syncronize functioned as both a release identity and a point of connection for Irish parties and international artists.

Key releases & catalogue moments

Ajja’s Psychogenica, Hyper Frequencies’ Phantasmatika and the Kazem compilation form the surviving core catalogue.
