What defined Inti Raimy Records

Inti Raimy Records was a small Greek psychedelic-trance imprint active in the early 2000s. Its catalogue is best remembered for releases by Biodegradable, Aerodance and Domi Pastor, plus the later compilation Theta Frequencies.

The label never developed the international profile of the larger Greek psytrance companies of the period, but its surviving releases capture a moment when progressive, morning full-on and more psychedelic strands were still overlapping freely.

How Inti Raimy Records developed

One of Inti Raimy’s clearest milestones was Biodegradable’s debut album Phaser, released in September 2002 as INTICD03. The album came from San Francisco-based Swiss producers Samy Guediche and Nicolas Oesch and was described at the time as full-on morning music built from heavy basslines, squelching synths and progressive melody.

Other documented 2002 releases include Aerodance’s Some More Sun and Domi Pastor’s Immortality. The compilation Theta Frequencies extends the documented catalogue into 2005.

People, organisation & management

Inti Raimy was a Greek imprint whose catalogue is now preserved in part through the Beatspace/Acidance Bandcamp archive. That archival relationship should not be read as proof that Inti Raimy and Acidance were the same label; ViralFlowMusic keeps their identities separate.

Sound, roster & A&R direction

The catalogue sits broadly within early-2000s psytrance, from melodic and morning-oriented material to heavier psychedelic tracks. Biodegradable’s Phaser is the clearest surviving example of the label’s warm, rolling full-on side.

Place in psytrance history

Inti Raimy forms part of the smaller-label layer that supported psychedelic trance during the early-2000s CD era. Its catalogue connected Greece with artists working in the Bay Area and elsewhere, illustrating how international the scene had already become.

Scene impact & cultural reach

The imprint is valuable less for scale than for the snapshot it provides of an era when small independent labels could release full-length psytrance albums internationally through specialist distribution networks.
