The story behind Vini Vici

Vini Vici was formed in 2013 by Israeli producers Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh, both already known from the long-running group Sesto Sento. Instead of simply renaming their earlier project, the pair created Vini Vici as a new outlet built around the collision of old-school psychedelic references, progressive structures and a more immediate festival-scale sound.

The 2015 album Future Classics established the project’s relationship with Iboga Records and helped define its early identity. A succession of high-profile singles, collaborations and remixes then carried Vini Vici beyond specialist psytrance events into mainstream trance and large electronic festivals. Their productions retained the rolling bass and psychedelic cues of Psytrance while increasingly using vocal hooks, dramatic builds and arrangements designed for very large stages.

In 2018 Saharai and Kadosh established Alteza Records, giving the duo its own label platform and extending its influence beyond the Vini Vici catalogue. The project remains highly active in 2026, continuing to release new music and tour major international festivals while Sesto Sento remains a separate historical and creative identity.

Origins of Vini Vici

Vini Vici began in 2013 as a new project by Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh after years of working together in Sesto Sento. The new identity was intended to combine older psychedelic ideas with the progressive direction then reshaping the festival scene.

The early years

The duo’s existing production chemistry gave Vini Vici an unusually experienced starting point. Future Classics in 2015 became the first major album statement and established a strong relationship with Iboga Records.

How the career developed

Collaborations and remixes expanded Vini Vici rapidly into the wider trance and EDM circuit, where the duo became one of the most visible psytrance names of the late 2010s. Alteza Records, founded in 2018, created a dedicated platform for their own music and related artists.

Vini Vici sound

Vini Vici combines Psytrance and Progressive Psytrance with old-school Goa references, large melodic hooks, vocal elements and the dramatic pacing of mainstream festival trance. The result is intentionally accessible without abandoning the rhythmic framework of psychedelic trance.

Place in psytrance history

Vini Vici helped carry 2010s Psytrance onto some of the largest stages in global electronic music. Vini Vici brought contemporary Psytrance aesthetics to audiences far beyond the specialist psychedelic scene.

Connections and influence

The project connects Sesto Sento, Iboga Records, Alteza and a broad network of trance and electronic collaborators. Sesto Sento should remain a distinct project instead of being rewritten as an early version of Vini Vici.

Vini Vici today

Vini Vici remains fully active in 2026, with current releases and major-festival touring continuing at an international level.
