Biography
Sheff is the separate techno project of Israeli producer Reshef Harari. It existed alongside Harari’s early Captain Hook period and follows his earlier work in Quantize, but it was conceived for a different musical direction rather than as another name for Captain Hook. The project was active by 2011, although its later development remains unclear. Created by Reshef Harari as a dedicated techno identity separate from his Psytrance and progressive-trance projects. Sheff was already established as Harari’s techno project by the release of Captain Hook’s Human Design in 2011.
Sheff developed as a genuine techno side project with dedicated releases including the Indigo EP on Echoes Records before Harari’s Captain Hook project became his principal solo identity. Sheff shows the techno branch of Reshef Harari’s production history and helps keep his separate project identities distinct.
Historical techno side-project identity; later activity is unclear. Related to Captain Hook and Quantize through Reshef Harari, but stylistically separate from both.
