Release context
Waio’s *Woyager_7* was released through SYNK87 Music in November 2023. The eleven-track album is particularly useful for understanding his later direction because Waio presented the project as an attempt to push psytrance into contact with other forms of electronic music rather than keep it stylistically sealed off.
That idea fits the broader arc of his catalogue. After years working inside psychedelic trance, *Woyager_7* treats that background as a foundation rather than a boundary. The result belongs to Waio’s more exploratory period, where genre-crossing becomes part of the album concept itself.
