Release context
Howling at the Moon brought Ajja and Burn in Noise back together under their Undefined Behavior project in 2023. The collaboration between the Swiss and Brazilian producers had existed for years, but this Nano Records single gave the project a clear new place in the current releases.
The track also opened Burn in Noise’s Burn in Noise e Amigos album campaign, which was built around collaborations with close friends and fellow producers. That makes Howling at the Moon part of two stories at once: a continuation of the Ajja/Burn in Noise partnership and the first chapter in a wider album centred on musical relationships.
