Release context
*Sud Boyne* is a 2021 *Psykovsky & Friends* album that continues the project's increasingly collaborative structure. Tracks such as “Esenys” and “Hyperswarm” are explicitly credited as productions by Psykovsky, while the wider record keeps the emphasis on a broader network of contributors.
By this point Psykovsky's catalogue had moved well beyond the model of one producer making a sequence of self-contained solo albums. The recurring “& Friends” credit reflects a working method built around exchange, hybrid forms and a deliberately porous idea of what a psytrance album can contain.
