Beyond The Ocean Of Time was released after Polyphonia producer Romolo Cherouvim's death, turning the album into both a musical document and a memorial. Quantum Frog Productions presented the record as a way of preserving his work, with proceeds directed to charity.
The posthumous context matters because the album should not be read as the next chapter of an active career. It is a carefully presented body of finished music from an artist whose dense, constantly mutating psychedelic style had already earned a distinct place in the underground scene.
