Release context
*Inspiration Station EP* is a shorter Mandala release from 2019, positioned in the same Nano Records run that surrounds the full-length *Back To Your Nature*. Its EP format gives the project more room than a single without turning the release into another album-scale statement.
Mandala's Nano Records catalogue grew steadily across the late 2010s and 2020s, moving from EPs and singles into the 2018 album *Back To Your Nature* and then back into a regular stream of stand-alone tracks. The result is a discography where the smaller releases do much of the work of showing how the project evolved between larger statements. In catalogue terms, it works as one of the stepping stones between larger releases and the steady flow of individual tracks that followed.
