Release context
*Into the Light* is Hypnocoustics’ debut album, released by Liquid Records in 2013. The eight-track record gave the UK project its first full-length platform after earlier releases had already established a psychedelic sound with a strong focus on detailed production and musical arrangement.
The album belongs to the period when Liquid Records was an important home for UK psychedelic trance. That scene context matters: *Into the Light* was not produced in isolation, but as part of a network of artists and labels developing a distinctly British take on modern psytrance.
