Release context
Highko is a German psychedelic trance producer associated with the faster and more abrasive side of the underground scene. His releases span the mid-2000s darkpsy period into later digital releases, preserving an uncompromising approach even as production tools and labels changed around it.
Twentyfive follows Musik Maschine (2023) in Highko's recorded catalogue. By 2024, the project already had enough history behind it for this ep to be heard as part of an established creative arc rather than a standalone introduction.
