Electric Universe is Boris Blenn's long-running German psychedelic trance project, active since the early 1990s. The catalogue combines a recognisable melodic language with recurring acoustic and world-music elements, and later releases have continued that approach through both solo tracks and large-scale live performance work.
Fractals belongs to Electric Universe's later singles period, when Boris Blenn was releasing new tracks regularly between larger projects and live commitments. The sequence keeps familiar melodic and acoustic references in play while showing that the project remained active well beyond its 1990s and 2000s album cycle.
