Release context
*Shuma* is E-Clip’s debut album under that project name, released in 2011. Marko Radovanović had already been producing for years and had previously worked in a more full-on direction as Beyondecliptica, so the album represents a change of artistic focus rather than the start of his production career.
With E-Clip, Radovanović moved toward progressive psytrance and a more restrained, spacious production style. That background makes *Shuma* important: it is the record where a producer with an existing history deliberately reset his sound and established the identity that would define the next stage of his work.
