Release context
Overload was the first dedicated Circuit Breakers EP on NANO Records, following the earlier collaborations that had brought Dickster and Burn in Noise together. Its 2010 release effectively turned their studio chemistry into a named project with its own catalogue.
That starting point matters when looking at the duo's later releases. Circuit Breakers did not begin as a branding exercise around two famous names; it grew from repeated collaboration and then developed into a long-running project with its own rhythmic and psychedelic identity.
